"Without a doubt, this is the best seafood in Sarasota. The waiters are fantastic. I think they get them straight out of Central Casting from Paramount Studios. The food is as good as any you can find anywhere. It there is a 30 minute wait for dinner they usually get you in in just 10 minutes. Their parking lot stays full and there is no parking across the street but it is well worth the effort."

"Barnacle Bills has 2 locations both FABULOUS the one downtown is a little more cozy and one by the airport is easy to get to. both nice and the food is to die for! The seafood chowder is the best I have had and the crab and lobster Chimichanga OMG it is mouth watering. If you want a seafood place that has fresh off the boat seafood this is it. and they have great steaks as well.

"Great Food Awesome Educated Server My husband and I had dinner here recently and the food was very delicious and our server (Billy) was phenomenal. See my husband and I don't really know a whole lot about seafood but Billy was so educated on the different types of seafood as well as all the fishes and what they taste like and where they come from even textures! we don't live in FL. but we WILL be returning and asking for Billy again"

"Nice package deal We're from the east coast of Florida, visiting Sarasota. On asking a local where to eat seafood, we were told Mattison's downtown and Barnacle Bill's. Mattison's was packed, so we drove on. This turns out to have been a Good Thing, because we enjoyed our meal at Barnacle Bill's. They have a $59 package deal for two that includes a decent bottle of wine, salads, entrees, and dessert. We had the salmon piccata and tilapia Gaspar, both of which were quite good. Our red-headed server was competent, confident, and knowledgeable. We'll go back next time we're in town."
